    That is weird how that blue inner border makes your squares pop more...

    They are both beautiful but I like the one that also has the inner border best.

    The reason I added the inner border is that I know of this lady that buys runners every year from the auction. She at one time gave me dimensions of her preferred size runner. I needed to extend the size just slightly to her specs to entice her to purchase it for her home. So, that is why the inner border. I was also surprised the total difference it made in the sharpness of the finished runner. Also, the brighter blue brought out the blue more in the pieces. The reason I like the other one is the animals are showcased more by the darker coloring. Without the blue binding the runner was too dark and bland, so each color blue had its own redeeming addition.

    I like them both, yes they are both very dramatic. I really like the fabric used for the borders. Nice job.
