    Yes, the first one is a string quilt. I had heard of them but had never seen one. They are very interesting.

    All three are absolutely GORGEOUS!!!! But I have to say the Grandma's would always have a soft spot in my heart just because and the first one, the scrappy is to die for!!!

    I dig the Scrappies!!!!

    Good for you!!! I love old quilts, and I have bought a couple of tops that I will be making into quilts this summer. I am sure the ladies who made them wanted them to be quilts, so, I am just finishing her work. I think it's the right thing to do.
