    Great scrappy. What size/kind of needle did you use? I did one and it was a real pain to my fingers. This winter my grandmother's tied comforter is on my bed.

    that is a beautiful quilt. Tied and all!!! I tied a king once with embroidery thread. surgeons knot too. They kept coming undone. Grrr. I removed all those threads and used yarn. No more problems. I just liked the embroidery thread look better. some have no problems with it, but I did. Anyway, love your quilt!!!! (I use a curved carpet needle)

    Wendy, my Granny tied all of her quilts. When I learned how to hand quilt, I quit tying for a spell, but when I make patchwork quilts, I'd rather ute them.
