Definite kudos to you for doing so many curves. I don't do curves, either, so this is totally out of my league.

No, there's no unfinished edges. They're all 1/4" seams.

I've done a drunken path quilt many years ago, I was silly enough to pick that one as my first quilt. And this one was double the amount of curves. It wasn't easy, that's for sure.

That is so pretty! It looks like scales on a tropical fish.

This is really pretty. If I were to do one like this, I think I would do circles, turn the edges and top stitch down. I don't like to piece curves and work around it if I can.

Wow, I learn something today never saw a clamshell design, that looks cool. Was it hard?

Did you find your pattern online? As I would love to buy the pattern or book, need to find the publisher.

    Thanks

I agree and I decided since everyone is afraid of curves why not leave a 1/4 raw edge. I did a Bills eye this way and its really nice, that way we can have our clamshell quilt and not have yp worry about sewing the curves. i may add it to my never ending list of want to do quilts!

The clam shell quilt is gorgeous, love the scrappy. You did a great job on it.

Daisey did a good job also. You need to put your quilt in a seperate topic.
