    Wow that is beautiful, so much work in it. I want to do a drunkards path and i am scared of it, this looks much more complicated. did u do on machine or by hand?

    You did a great job on the quilting and the curves. I haven't tried curves yet. Thanks for the push to try.

    I don't like to leave raw edges on my quilts, but yours is very pretty. I actually like a challenge. It doesn't mean I'd do more of them since I mastered it, but can add it to my mental "accomplished" list:>

    Yes, it was a bit hard and I didn't have a pattern. Although I did have an acrylic template I bought years and years ago. It did come with a pattern for a light and dark quilt, but the clamshells faced eachother and I didn't care for the positioning or the pattern. I decided to "do my own thing" with the shells and see what happened. I wanted to do it with all my scraps, so I figured if I messed it up no big loss. I liked how it came out, especially since I "winged" it and had no pattern to follow.

    Thank you for sharing this with us!!!It is beautiful!!! I've never done that pattern but it is outstanding as a scrappy quilt!! Great job!!
