Default UFO finish #2 with stash and new fabric

Three years ago on a quilting trip my QBuddy and I saw this pattern made up in a shop (TicTacSew from Black Cat Creations) and decided to make it together. I choose brights, she choose country colors. I bought a main color (white with gray), she used all scraps. We shared pieces from each other's scrap bins. We both made them 6" longer and sewed them in a timely manner. Hers went off to the quilter....mine sat. I decided to get a backing for it 2 years ago, but didn't buy enough...mine sat. Finally this fall bought another piece of backing and got it done. My 5 yo GD will get this one. I used a new panto on it--Lisa's Raindrops from Urban Elementz.

I like this one too. The colors are perfect for this design of quilt. You did a great job and it shows well. Thanks for sharing this beautiful quilt.

What a wonderful quilt! The pattern is simple enough and would make a good guy quilt done in manly fabrics. Love it! Thanks for showing us.
