Home is where the heart is; lovely houses and the elephant is very cute.

Thank you all for your very kind words. Got elephant appliqued onto background today, and will fill in the rest tomorrow. Then just add the sleve and put binding on. will post a picture when I get it done.

That turned out beautifully. Being an avid ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE fan, can't wait to see the elephant one finished.

I have the around town wall hanging and really should get it done. The green area is done, but only have two of the houses. I didn't like the way my silk embroidered birds were coming out, so set it aside : ( I still love it though, so should really try again. Yours is lovely!

It always feels good to finish a UFO. Both quilts are great!

Both quilts are beautiful, but I especially love your elephant quilt. I've collected elephants for years. I started when my DH and I were dating. I was on a tight budget, so I was very careful with my money, only buying things when they were on sale. One day he told me "You'd buy an elephant if it were on sale." While he was in Viet Nam I sent him a cute, small stuffed elephant and told him I'd found it on sale, and I've been collecting ever since.
