    Looks great to me. I didn't know you could make those at home, just thought they were factory made. Where can I find the instructions?

    I like Thimblebug's suggestion of putting colorful, bright fruit in it. I think it looks great.

    That turned out great. I learned to make them at a quilt retreat two years ago. I have since made coasters for all of my quilting friends a small gifts. I always have a cold drink near my sewing machine or where I am quilting. The coaster keeps a puddle from forming.
    It is fun to see what you can make from scraps. The hardest part is starting and stopping.

    Oh it is NOT ugly at all!! I love it and the splash of yellow just makes it pop. You did a great job and thanks for sharing with us :thumbup:
