I think it's just the color combo I'm not so fond of....also it just seem blah. I like quilts that have more of an immediate visual impact. I guess maybe it's just too subdued for me. Anyway, to each his/her own. There have been a couple people who have agreed with me that it's just not the best looking quilt, but most seemed to think it would be suitable for a gift, so I don't feel quite so bad about it now! On to something I'll feel much better about!

I don't understand how you can think that is ugly. I think it is gorgeous. Maybe put it away for a day or so and then look again, I love it!

I think it looks absolutely fine. Sometimes we are our own worst critic. I would definitely give it as a gift.
