I'm a scrappy person myself, so I see this quilt differently. When I was about 7 years old, I had nothing but ear aches for a few years. Remember the warmed up ear drops. We had to stay in bed when we were sick. But I loved my bed spread and spent many hours playing with small figures on my knees under the quilt. Remember RL Stevenson's poem: Something like when I was and lay in bed....looking at his counterpane. Well I looked at my bed spread and imaged many things.

It's not ugly at all, very cheery and with the pink fleece backing it will be very special - should be well loved.

I don't know how you can say it's ugly. It's really very striking and any girl (big or little) would like it. Maybe it's just not your taste.

Np! It ia not ugly. It is bright and cheerful. The striped fabric gives this quilt an 'Artistic Flair'.
