I agreed, there just has to be uglier fabric out there. Maybe they're afraid to show it. :shock:

I think you might have the real reason there aren't any really ugly fabrics posted yet...nobody wants to make an ugly quilt :lol: :shock: :lol:

Yeah, I have an uglier fabric than the one I entered, but I also was afraid I'd win. But after going back and looking at all of them again, I've thought up an older pattern that I would actually like to use all of these fabrics in. Can't wait for the next UGLIEST FABRIC CONTEST!

I found the best place to find ugly fabric is the donation bin of fabrics at your church community center. Wow -- there are some really OLD uglies there. But we've been using them (very carefully) and have made up quite a few really nice "comfort quilts" for other church members. I'll try to display a few if we have another round of "Ugliest Fabric" here.
