I like to look and feel fabric. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and some are more attractive than others, but I have truly never seen one I would call really ugly because when I look at a not quite attractive fabric I try to think how I would use it in a quilt. But I do admit to having a couple of pieces that come really close to unattractive and have been in my stash for ages.

My vote is for Nancy in Louisiana, tho it was a tough decision, there were quite a few UGLY fabrics.

The old saying is "what is not good for one, is good for someone else". They are really not that bad, just would have to build a pattern around the fabric. My least favorite is from TucanSam, (the sewing machine print)

I though most of the fabrics were just uninteresting, not ugly - lots of ditsy fabric.

Fun2Quilt - African fabric. I have that and alot of other African fabrics, which I use sparingly, but I love them.

Sewbeit42 - Bight ugly, would look terrific cut in strips.

Nancy in LA. - that would make great strips and binding.

I really disliked cjomomma's paisley; but I don't like paisley ever.

So, my vote goes to Karen of Shequilts - a hideous poinsettia fabric

I really like many of the entries. I wouldn't have minded winning just to get my hands on some of them. LOL But I'm not even in the running here, so my vote goes to TWISTED QUILTER.
Now, if the winner has any fabric left after creating her quilt, I'd love to have some of the scraps from Kerri, kygirl, Nancy, quilting nonnie, sewbest42, yolanda and cjomomma. I especailly need fabric with oranges in it. I'm happy to pay the postage.

I will go with Twisted Quilter. But I admit I was blinded after only a few moments of looking at most of those fabrics lol
