COngratulations Norbana!!!!! I am so sorry for the unbelievable challenge that awaits you now. I showed the pics to DH and he hollered "THAT's the one I would have voted for too!"

    Happy ugly-quilting.

It's yellow leopard spots, tiger stripe, was there zebra stripes too? Each print sort of in a diamond pattern.
I still like the idea of making a basket out of it using clothesline and cover w/ fabric strips.
    Good Luck Norbana!

I guess we should all be afraid of being partnered with Norbana in any of the swaps coming up (doll quilt, friendship block-a-month, etc.), especially if she remembers who sent what to her. As for a good idea on using them all, how about tearing them up in strips and making a braided rug for your back door where everyone wipes their feet? I'm sure with the fabric involved that it won't show dirt at all.

Those who can quilt, quilt. Those who can't, think up fun games to play. Glad everyone enjoyed it, it's been a hoot!

Some day I'm going to do a Sunny Lanes quilt. The first Nickel Quilts book provides one set of directions for it, and Quilters Cache has another way to make the blocks. I saw one made up in a quilt shop and I loved it.
