Wow! NorBa, you worked wonders. Just proves my philosphy of life and that is that sometimes the bad times really turn out in the end to be for the best. (As my life has proved over and over!) Wonderful quilt and I really like the yo-yo covered with button idea. I get a new inspiration each time I check out this board! You all are great.

Went back to the "ugly" fabrics, can't believe you pulled it off. Did you use a lot of other fabrics to tame these uglies?
Great job. Maybe by the next time the challenge comes along, I will have an ugly to put in.

The mix of fabric was about 25% ugly, 75% solids/near solid to tame down the uglies.

I think we're going to shoot for January 2011. Everybody should be good and bored by then and in need of excitement.

I have my piece already picked out. WooHooooooooooooo!

Can you believe someone actually LIKED my ugly? She asked if I had any left (of course I did) I traded it for a spool of thread :) :) :) I think I got the better end of the trade. I'm actually glad it got a new home and someone who wanted it.

OMG!! What in the world was she going to use it for, a mattress cover? I was hoping it would look better if I looked at it again...NOT!

You're right, you got the better end of the deal.
