"Umbrella Girls"/"Sunbonnet Lassies" - historically speaking that is....
It seems there has been a lot of interest lately in "Umbrella Girls", etc.
While I was surfing the web I came upon this:
which is from a Project Gutenburg book named "Quilts - Their Story and How to Make Them - by Marie D. Webster" printed in 1916 located here: http://www.gutenberg.org/files/24682...-h/24682-h.htm and is in the public domain.
