    Little Boy Blue
    come blow your horn
    the sheep's in the meadow
    the cow's in the corn.
    Where's the little boy
    who looks after the sheep?
    Under the haystack
    fast asleep.

    From Mother Goose
My mom used to recite the rhymes to my sisters and me. The beige and yellows just made me think of hay. Of course, it was perfect that I had already chosen some blues.

Very nice! I haven't ever seen the entire quilting done in words before. Cool!

I'm thinking of doing several Mother Goose quilts. I enjoyed this one b/c it was fast, but it got me thinking about my mom and about when my own boys were little. We'd sit on the porch swing and "sing." I have a horrible voice, so for us singing meant reciting the rhymes.

Thanks for your kind comments everyone. Really, this was an easy quilt. I decided to make it after reading some of the threads here. One of the reasons I love reading and visiting....the QB is great inspiration!
