    Wonderful quilt. I'm so impressed with your hand applique. I'm wanting to do applique other than machine stitched. So this is what you call "needle-turn?" I looked closely and can't see any stitches. Very impressive.

    Nice job Penni. You made a very important point, you are quilting because you wanted to, not because you felt you had to. Nothing wrong with taking a little vacation away from quilting. Sometimes we need the rest and with time we gain a different perspective.

    You did a fantastic job and they should love it, it's perfect for either a boy or girl. I'm sure the baby will love touching all the fish, great colors too.
