Well I am a little sad...

I posted this quilt to Jan, sent it special delivery, it was delivered next day (checked on line) still I heard nothing...strange!

I decided to ring the carer who lives in, only to find out that Jan has been admitted to hospital with a severely infected knee and she has undergone two arthroscopies to clean it out and is expected to remain in hospital for at least 2/3 weeks.

I have spoken with her every day since and she knows that the quilt is waiting for her when she gets home, I think she will need it more than ever now.....

It's absolutely gorgeous....well worth any "stressful moments" you encountered on your journey. It will surely bring warmth and comfort to your recipient. Thanks for sharing.
