    Default Unfinished top before and after

    The first photo is as I originally designed it. I wanted it to look as if the colours weave over and under each other.
    Not satisfied I ripped and resewed. Second photo is how it is now. It's still not what was in my mind's eye but closer.
    What do you think?

    The first one looks more random, the second one more organized. I like them both but prefer the second..

    Wow, that is a stunning quilt! I do like the second layout better, but I probably wouldn't have taken the first layout apart to make the second layout. You are a very patient person, at least compared to me!

    I am in awe of your determination to have if just right. Tearing out is not my favorite thing to do.
    It is a wonderful quilt and I really like the fall color pallet.

    Very nice! I can see the second layout reads more of what you are going for. Kudos to you for all your hard work!

    The colors do look more woven in the second version, and the pattern is more formal. I think I like the first one better, though...
