What a great string quilt! That is on my someday list. I love how you unified the scrappy by utilizing that same tan fabric in every block. The quilting panto you chose compliments it beautifully and the black thread really looks good on it, especially the black. Kudos to you for taking the leap with black thread, I don't think I would have been daring enough to have gone in that direction but it looks fabulous.

Nice quilt - love the black border....reminds me I have a UFO to finish...a Chronicle Quilt but I have been wavering about borders/sashing. Now to pick a color.
