    Great 1st Quilt. also for some fabric's I do a starch before I cut the pieces... as I too have stretching problems.

    I did a couple like that one and added a quilted shape to some of the plain squares. With that quilt you could enlarge the shape of the giraffe and quilt the shape into some of the plain squares or even a heart would work. Just a suggestion! It's a really cute quilt.
