    Love the two baby quilts posted! I actually purchased some machine embroidery applique sets today. Baby's room is done in an under the sea theme. I found these appliques and may add them to the quilt as long as it enhances it and doesn't detract from the pattern of the quilt.

    Beautiful quilt! You should be so proud and your new grand-baby will love snuggling under it some day. We have something in common--my DD is expecting #2 in October also but I haven't even thought about starting a quilt yet. Way to go!!!

    Not only is your daughter going to love it, she is going to be sooooo proud because your first quilt was for her. It will always remain special in her eyes. You did a great job - don't be so critical of yourself. You will learn something new with every quilt you do. Job well done and onward and upward!
