    They are both lovely! I am a printy-floraly quilter so I do like the 2nd quilt. However the brown is very striking!

    Nice quilt and I love the colors. I want to make a brown and teal quilt. The colors are so pleasing together.

    I sashed a 10 inch square then sewed 2 different blocks together diagonally, then cut apart. Missouri Star Quilt has a tutorial called the Magic Square. Check it out. I found it very easy to follow.

    I didn't see it the first time around but I love it! And thanks for the tip about the Missouri Star Quilt tut for the "Magic Square". I'll definitely check it out.
