    For the first part of the story, go here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-105913-1.htm

    I finally have the quilt top together. I still need to stitch down the applique....

    ....and I think I'm going to have to take it part-way apart to flip 2 of the inner pieced borders.

    <sigh>

    I guess I know what I'll be working on this weekend ~ since it has to be completely finished by May 14th!

    Which two of the inner borders are you going to have to flip? Your top left and bottom right are mirrored as are your top right and bottom left. Not sure which ones you are talking about - looks good to me.

    It's beautiful! I'd leave it just the way it is. :)

    Thanks!
    I was considering changing the opposing inner borders, but on more thought....I realized I would have to completely take 2 of them out, take them apart & flip the blocks so it would "zigzag" all the way around.
    I will take all of your advice & just leave it alone!!!
    Thanks for telling me that it's OK the way it is ~ you've saved me :D

    I did finish stitching the applique down tonight. Now we'll get the backing & batting together & see if we can find someone with a longarm & time. And who would be willing to quilt it as an "in-kind" donation. :D

    Tomorrow I'll take it to show to the Walk committee.
