    I've never seen the way the ribbons meet in the center. Is there a pattern you could share with us?

    I had seen a picture, I think on Pinterest(?), where someone was playing with Half Square Triangles! I have a boxful of HST s .....so I started 'playing ' too!! I started with the pinwheel and just kept twisting a d turning until I was happy with it!!! Needed some concentration whilst piecing.....but we got there!!! Better still.....all from my stash!! The green gingham border/backing fabric I have had for years!!! I just love 30s fabrics and have done several quilts with them.....I still have enough for several more!!!!!!!
