    Thats what I was thinking...the brick will really be just a pincord placed between the inner quilt and an outside border. Then I will bind it in the brick.

    Beautiful! I have a hint for making 1/2 square triangles that I've discovered. There's a company called "Ta-Da Triangles". It is a pre-printed interfacing type material (perfect to use with fat quarters). The triangles can be done in many different sizes...you fuse to the wrong side of one fat quarter, then pin (a little) to the other fat quarter...follow the dotted lines while stitching -- VERY quick...it's a continuous line....cut on solid lines and you end up with PERFECT 1/2 square triangles...one sheet (at 2-1/4' ) makes 70 1/2 square triangles! :)

    That's beautiful, Patti! I'm in awe of your HSTs, just how tiny are they? They look miniscule!
