    How big are your squares?
The small squares are 2 1/2 in. Large white block is 6 1/2 in and the sides to the white block are 2 1/2 x 6 1/2 in. The instructions were for strip pieceing but I had a bunch f 2 1/2 in blocks already cut out so I pieced it the old fashioned way, just sewing them together indifidually.

There is a reason for the retro look. That piece of green is vintage. It was only 35 in wide. I have a remarkable stash of vintage fabric. Sometimes I just luck out with the right shade. I didn't think I would like it at first but when I got it attached it really looked good.

Thank you! I don't know why but looking at the picture I thought you were using 4" blocks. It really is perfect!
