It was a fussy cut piece of fabric of a Victorian lady to match the feature print which had victorian kids.

    Frogquilter --- here's your star.

64 pieces later, phew... I don't know why I keep trying harder ones...

Her feature fabric was the light purple in the centers with the quilty designs on it.

Navarre2011 has 2 blocks coming to her. Her first f8 didn't show up and she sent another one. LO and behold her first f8 showed up so she gets 2.

One of her feature fabrics is the paisley print and the other feature fabric is the tiny maroon flowers.

After all the stressful ones, I did do easy ones for her but I really like the way they turned out.

Moon, I jumped to this post from the post you put about my Painted shoe quilt!! I so appreciate your compliments, since I consider the source! When I saw all of these, wow, you have been busy taking up a lot of challenge. I have yet to try paper piecing...but I'll bet you haven't tried painting a block!!?? LOL

LOL... I use to paint sweatshirts with scenes for the holidays, eons ago...but I was very much "color book" style. Use to use the "tube paints" also many more eons ago to do the pillowcases and tablecloths. Never have the skill or artistic imaginary you have.

Paper piecing is easy when you take the time and it sure gives you great points to boot.

    Thanks for the compliments :-D

tapngram sent some funky blue cat fabric and wanted it cheerful as she plans to use it in sick children's quilts.

    Hope this meets her expectations.

rejenea sent the white with purple and orange "strings" all over it.

She wanted something with any holiday on it.

The ghosties matched just too well to pass it up.
