    In a swap like this, 36 people exchange fabric and you make a block for them...some send some guidelines/suggestions others are a free for all as to what you make.

    These are the blocks I made from their feature fabrics and mailed back to them.

    August 23, 2010 – Freedom Star Block #33 – Birthday Star Block

    This is the first paper pieced project I have ever tried. It was harder than I thought it would be and I learned you really have to continue past the printed lines in some spots but NOT in others, lol. I was amazed it turned out so well.

    I'm in the boomerang 5 swap and I wanted to try it out first before I used someone else's fabric. Several of the others are from quilterscache website.
    Fantastic site. Thanks for letting us know about it. How have I missed it so far? I guess there are too many.

    Yep, they are the same pattern... amazing how the colors make such a difference isn't it?
