I was able to machine sew the top seam. Those straps are not going to break, and should never wear out! The fabric is cream and beige colorwave, with touches of blue, peach, yellow & pink. I thought making this type of bag would have bulky seams, but RNUNU was right when she said they wouldn't be. My thanks to her for all. I was supposed to be starting a large tote for my daughter for her quilting classes, had to try this first. Very pleased with how it turned out. Go for it everyone!

I would really like to have your pattern for upholstery bags. I was just given some upholstery samples by a friend and I would love to make some of these.
Great job!
