    Thank you all for your comments, I simply took 8" strips of muslin and put all my cut scraps in a bag, I just closed my eyes and picked out the fabric and thats what I used, if the fabric repeated itself I put it back in the bag. After I had all the strips covered I sewed them together and backed with muslin, they didn't need batting because they were already thick and warm. These quilts are in my guest room that my granddaughter is using right now.
    Yes, I have many more scraps and I'm in the process of making 8" blocks with them, and still have plenty left over. I promised myself I would not buy any more fabric until I used up what I already had, but I did buy the muslin lol. I should be able to post a pic over the weekend. I love scrappy too.
