Default Using pillow panels in a quilt

OK, I do like a good challenge with my quilting once in a while. When a large donation of fabric came into the senior sewing group, I selected these 4 pillow panels. One of my friends said that she would just make them into pillows. But yesterday,I unveiled the quilt top and everyone in the group seemed quite pleased with the final results. It was very difficult to come up with the size of the square that would fit both the height and width of the pillow panel. So here is the final result of the challenge I created for myself. Now my next challenge is what to make from the Mickey Mouse pillow panels!!

that is beautiful. One of my coworkers at the hospital would be very happy to have that. I would love to be able to do something light that with my Christmas panels, but my math is not good when it comes to figuring out what sizes my outer block should be. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice!!! All of those Mickey and Minnie fans would love to get their hands on this quilt. Great use of the panels.
