I'm working on paper foundation piecing and loving it.. I'm using a lot of my stash and scraps. I found a "lined" writing tablet at Walmart and the pages are very this sort of like newsprint paper for $1.00 per tablet for about 50 sheets. That's better that the prices for the paper intended for foundation piecing. I can put up with the lines on the pages. Each of the block posted is 14 inches and are from "Foundation-Pieced Quilts (14 Favorites from Quiltmaker Magazine)

After you get past an initial learning curve paper-piecing is great fun. You did a great job on yours. Will look forward to a picture of the finished quilt. I like your idea of inexpensive paper. Some kinds of paper from the medical supply store also work well.
