    I found a giraffe pattern at our local quilt shop and then adapted it for my own needs. For example, the pattern didn't have a tail on the giraffe nor was I able to use the way they added the measurement strips etc. I added grass etc. etc. I was just happy to find the giraffe as he was perfect for this project.
