    So that's the secret to making beautiful quilts! Perhaps I should nip a li'l more at the inspiring beverages. Great story and what a gorgeous quilt!

    LOL...No it wasn't, but funny you should bring up AA. I started quilting many years ago while trying to dry out after a bitter divorce. Yep, I'm recovered...never been to a meeting, but no longer drink till I pass out. I have the occasional irish coffee. Most of the time the Baileys spoils before I can drink the bottle. You know they say alcoholics will generally trade one bad habit for another, mine was fabric!
