I made this quilt in 1978 and finished in 1986. I have the template for the sue but not for the background, etc. I know I mailordered it and the instructions were on plain paper. The bonnet and arm are sewn by hand. My daughter wants to make this quilt, would anyone know the pattern?

The cat pillow was made from a pattern of my mom's from the '50's.

If you can email me a closer shot of the picture I will make templates for you. I have many Sunbonnet Sue patterns but I really couldn't make this one out. Helen /[email protected]

This was 33 years ago that I started this and I knew very little about quilting. I would have stuffed the back of the bonnet a little before I tacked it down. I didn't know about putting a leader on before sewing so the feet were very frustrating to sew because it was a small, small piece. Hands sleeve and bonnet were all by hand and sewed onto the pieced body. I think I have coverall sam also in the same type of sewing. I will look and see if I can find any of the pattern.

I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT STUFFING THE BONNET! Thanks for the idea! I know those little parts can be so difficult to sew! You did a good job even though you were a beginner!
