    You can also use some plastic tubeing around the bag and it keep it from being to flat. You use ice maker or fish tank size tubeing.

    I made Tissue holder for the grand kids I put a beanie baby on the block instead of the pin holder
    .
    To keep the Thread bag from slipping. I used a square of that rubber shelf liner to help keep it from sliding off the table as I sewed.
