I too fell in love with the Venetian Glass Quilt and although it was a king sized quilt (and I don't have a king sized bed), I made it! I showed it at my guild's quilt show in 2008. However, my DD and DSIL (who have a king sized bed) came to the show and after the show was over, SURPRISE, it went home with my DD. I used the Batik 5-inch squares that we exchanged at the guild, a cream Batik and lots and lots of black Kona. Every time I visit my DD, I check and sure enough, the Venetian Glass quilt is on their bed!

Unfortunately no - - but I'll ask my daughter to take a photo and email it to me and I'll put it on the board. Thanks for being interested.

Dear Baren*eh*ked_canadian, as promised, here is a photo of the Venetian Glass Quilt I made and is now gracing my daughter's king sized bed. As I said previously, it was a lot of fun to assemble, and a killer to quilt. Because it was longer than 96-inches, I had to sew a sleeve on the long side in order to display it at my Guild's Quilt Show. Also, my centers were 5-inch squares (4-1/2 finished) and the "leading" (Kona Black) was cut one-inch (1/2 inch finished). Can't wait to see yours.

    wow, that's beautiful!!!
I bet it took you forever to do, though!
I found the fabrics I want to use to make this quilt, but I have a couple lined up before that, and honestly, I don't have the money to put on more fabric right now... I think Sasha might just strangle me if I come in with more fabric, lol!
