    If you cover the points, it's easier, but a different effect. Or, you can add rings (say make one circle 14" and the one inside it 10" for a 2" wide ring) and make the circle smaller. In other words, just cover the middle whatever arrangement suits you. Same if larger--just cover up more of the bottom of the foundation.

    Ohhh!!! That is so stunningly beautiful!

    It reminds me of a mosaic pattern that should be in a castle or something...just g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s!!!!

    The pattern is Venice Rose from the book Bella Bella Quilts by Norah McMeeking. It is totally paper pieced. I used the method by Judy Mathieson. Thanks for all your comments.
