A Very Sad & Disappointing Story with A Happy Ending
#81
You did the right thing. The first recipient did not deserve the quilt. She is selfish, rude, thoughtless and inconsiderate. You are to be given kudo's for not saying more to her when she told you to take it back and get her something else. She doesn't realize how precious a gift that you gave to her. Gifts of love come from the heart. It's too bad she is so materlistic and can't appreciate what was given to her. I feel sorry for her husband. She is demanding and immature. I pray that her children won't be like her.
The quilt that you made is beautiful. I'm glad you had it to give to someone who would appreciate it. Hugs, Cheryl

An adorable quilt that any little one would love to cuddle up with! I am happy you did what you did and did not worry of getting something else for her. It is the little one that will miss out on a gift of love.

Yikes, talk about lack of manners.
Everyone gets what they deserve eventually  , even your beautiful quilt. It's gone to a home and family who will appreciate it, you have the pleasure of knowing it is loved, and that little pill got what she deserved, too!
