Default Very Scrappy, with thanks to Roberta

http://www.quiltingboard.com/links-r...s-t260472.html After reading this topic today I remembered that I had made a couple of quilts for Project Linus using Bonnie Hunters' "crumb" quilt idea. So mixing the two, Melanie Ham and Bonnie's idea I did this earlier tonight.

The 1st pic is one of my scrap boxes before, the second is after, with the tiniest of dents and the 3rd pic is the itsy bitsy bits at the bottom of my waste basket. Bonnie would not be amused as there are some big enough to use in her Crumb quilt block but enough is enough for me!

I start the block with a wonky triangle type piece, the black one, this gives me the nice diagonals etc. the blocks I made are 9.5", finished 9" and using my 2" scrap squares for the sashings, which I will also use for borders.

Don't know how big I will make it but just in that handful of scraps, with the borders it would make a nice Project Linus quilt, don't you?
