    Default Very Special Military Quilt

Awhile ago I was lucky enough to get a quilt from board member lady petite and she referred her sister to me. Anyway her sister asked lady petites son for his military fatigues to make him a quilt and he sent her 40 pounds of his fatigues. She embroidered each tour in the four corners and made an awesome label for back. I was so honored to quilt this quilt. When I opened the box and laid out the quilt, it brought tears to my eyes, This gentlemen did a lot for our country. I have such respect for our military. So needless to say this quilt is probably the best quilt I have ever had the opportunity to long arm and I hope she likes it. God Bless our military and thanks for looking.

That is indeed a very special quilt. I would not have thought that such an attractive quilt could have been made from military fatigues. Your quilting just sent it over the top - well done!

Very Nice Job. Its beautiful. I was in the Marine Corps and have started a quilt made from my uniforms also. More and more folks are doing this and I think it is a great idea. Mine laid around for years and now I will able to enjoy the quilt when I finish it. Also I have made a purse from my uniforms that I enjoy carrying.
