What a wonderful, thoughtful gift. As a survivor I'm sure she'll love having it. It will bring great comfort as she goes thru treatment.
    Prayers coming her way.....

prayers for your niece...your quilt is so pretty and girly..colors are great and you are a special auntie...
we were eating at a resteraunt not too long ago and saw a gal wearing a t-shirt that said cancer sucks...it really made me think of all the people that have/or are survivors..i walked up to her after dinner and said God Bless you keep up the fight...she grabed me and gave me the biggest hug and said thank you...i know i will never see her again as it was out of town...but will remember her in my prayers... :-D

Thank you for your prayers. My hope is that she will bring it with her to chemo therapy (which she has already started). My husband prayed Acts: 19:11-12 - that it would be like the cloths of Paul. I had forgotten all about those verses and thought they fit so well. They also fit the Downey quilts!

The pictures really don't do it justice. It is so much prettier live. It's already in the mail tonight to get to her this week.
I too am a breast cancer survivor since 1996. I will pray for her and God's comfort along with her new quilt. I stood on the scripture from Psalms 46:10, Be still and know that I am God... Sometimes we get so carried away and in the midst of everything, he just wants us to be still and know He loves us and is there. Blessings to you and her family!
