My neice recently found out she has stage II beast cancer so I spent this weekend making this special gift.

Awesome.....I am a survivor since 1984. Your neice will just love the quilt and so pretty. I would have treasured something like your quilt....sometimes you really need pretty and soft and girly just to let you know you are still very pretty and soft and girly...I will pray for her...

I am so sorry about your niece - will include her in prayers. What a gorgeous quilt she will have to comfort her. She will love it!

Very pretty and what a wonderful gift. I pray your niece comes through this trial in her life with flying colors. God Bless her!

Thank you for your prayers. My hope is that she will bring it with her to chemo therapy (which she has already started). My husband prayed Acts: 19:11-12 - that it would be like the cloths of Paul. I had forgotten all about those verses and thought they fit so well. They also fit the Downey quilts!

The pictures really don't do it justice. It is so much prettier live. It's already in the mail tonight to get to her this week.
