WOW! you have been very busy. THANK YOU and your Church congregation for honoring and recognizing some of our most amazing citizens those special people who have given their all for all of us, we owe them so much more and will never really be able to pay them enough for their service to this country and each of us. DH and I were in a nearby town on Wed. grabbing a quick bite at Furr's before heading home, and they were also honoring Vets. There were three older gentlemen WWII vets and possibly one was from the Korean war, sitting at a nearby table. All I could do was thank them for serving. The sparkle in their eyes and emotion in their voices when I thanked them was very heart warming. I make an effort to personally thank all I see in uniform and ones I know that have served us. I just feel like that is the very least I can do-many are caught by surprise when I tell them thank you, I guess because they don't always hear someone tell them thanks for their service. I have no living service members in my family, but I so appreciate all that have given their time to our country.
