    Default Vin's Log Cabin Quilt

Just finished binding this quilt. My massage lady just had her 1st child last month so I asked her a few questions on the theme for his bedroom. She gave me aqua, yellow and grey with elephants. Found this pattern in one of my books and then took the idea into EQ7 to enlarge the blocks. I'm pleased with how it came out. I used the leftover cut offs on the border and backing plus one more for a little stuffed elephant I found a free pattern for. I used some elephant quilting patterns along with a little mouse added as we all know elephants are afraid of mice. Used 2 colors of thread to quilt it and though its not heavily quilted I think she'll like it.

I used most all the scraps for this quilt so have very little to throw into my scrap tote. The elephant used most of the left over scraps and added one of the cut off blocks at the top of his head with his name embroidered on it.
