    A fantastic buy, you should be able to find an appraiser in your area that can tell you the age of quilt and the fabrics used. I would be very careful how I wash it as many women from those far away eras used cotton right off the boles and seeded it, then lay it flat on a piece of muslin until they had enough for the whole quilt. It was such fun for me to watch my Grandmother do this and then turn it into a pretty quilt. She was my inspiration
