Default Vintage Around the World ....quilted by Kevin

A customer brought in a vintage quilt that was hand pieced by her grandmother decades ago for us to finish. We used cream muslin for backing and used a solid red for binding that was really close to the red used in the quilt. Kevin quilted a Baptist Fan design on it....old timey quilting design for a vintage quilt. I think it turned out lovely.

It is so pretty. Someone has saved a wonderful quilt. And can you imagine. Those weren't strip pieced. They were each cut out with scissors and a piece of cardboard or etc.

I love it. It looks so soft and comforting. The red is perfect for the binding.
But... isn't the pattern "Boston Commons"? Very similar but in rectangular form instead of square like a Trip Around the World.
