Does anyone know the age of these blocks? They were all hand sewn on a piece of muslin.

    All 15 of them

This quilt was made in 1960 by my Great Grandmother and Grandmother. Hope this helps you date yours.

Some of the fabrics have gold on them, maybe the fabrics are from clothing people wore.

maybe someone that has a book on dating fabrics will be able to help you.

I'm thinking the briter fabrics came in during the later years...so it might actually be late 60s, early 70.

The fabrics look like prints from the 50's and early 60's. See if your local library has some of the fabric dating books available now.

These prints appear to be later than 60s, probably 70s, even some early/mid 80s.

My grandmother (I must be quite a bit older than you) used that type of fabric when she made quilts for us - she made them in the 30's, 40's, and 50's. By the fifties, the fabric was a bit more modern; yours looks like something from the 30's - 40's. Maybe they just saved the fabric.
