    Cool fan quilt

When you put God first, the rest falls into place.

I volunteer at a nursing home once a week and paint fingernails, nothing big but you would think they were going to the ball the way they carry on. Anyway a man out there that must be in his late 70's or early 80's asked me if I would repair his quilt. The binding was frayed. It was this design, the only problem was his mother and aunt had made it for him. Which made it at least "older then I wanted to touch" but I said I would try. I took it home, took out the hand stitching on the binding and turned the binding, sewed another seam on the binding, turned it again and hand sewed it again to the quilt. Boy did I pray that nothing happened to it before I could get it back safely on his bed. He was so thankful...and isn't that why we do what we do. Do I hear an Amen to that.

This is a beautiful quilt. I am just fascinated with the awesome quilting. It really makes the quilt pop. Thank for sharing.

Vintage vans are one of my favorites, so very nicely done.
